I always strive to make something extra special for my Grandson’s birthday. ( Children’s Extra Special )This time I tried to recreate his favourite things to do in the park. I decided to do an A4 sized Block easel card (one of my favourite styles of card these days), I had to do a lot of head scratching to figure out how I was going to depict each thing. Then I made things more complicated by making the elements kinetic. I was really pleased with the outcome. The Zip line, swing, see saw and bicycle all move. My grandson Charlie was absolutely delighted. It’s difficult to remember every die I used as many were not necessarily intended to create the things I made but dies included :- ?? Globeland boy die (from family set), A Quickutz Cookie balloon die, The Paper Boutique Grandson sentiment dies, Spellbinders layered ‘Happy Birthday’ dies, Card Making Magic Number 3, and Capital letter ‘C’, Craft Buddy Nested lower case letters, Bicycle die from a magazine free gift and numerous other dies to create zip line, see saw and swing.
