I learned to knit many years ago and for a long time knit many garments for myself and subsequently for my children. As time moved on i found I knit less and less, eventually giving away all of knitting needles and associated supplies. Last year I found out I was to become a grandma and so began rekindling my love of knitting in order to make things for my new grandson.
