My mum taught me to sew many many years ago. Following her advice, I bought a sewing machine with money I was given as 21st birthday presents. Over 40 years later it’s still going strong. It’s made clothes, curtains, fancy dress costumes, toys and clothes and done hundreds of alterations and repairs too. Here are some of my more recent projects.
