Our local pub Landlady and her hubby celebrate their birthdays just a month apart. Paul is a mechanic and so ‘Cars’ had to be the theme for his Showstopper card made using Made To surprise Showstopper 3 Double concertina Gatefold die set, Made to Surprise Have a Drink on me Stamp and die set, Crafty Buddy Nested Alphabet Upper case dies, and Spellbinders Mr Fix it die.

It had to be beer themed when it came to making Nicola’s card. I used one of Sam Calcott’s die sets to make this. It makes a great card very easily. I chose appropriately patterned card stock and drink themed dies to create her favourite tipples, namely Carling and Bailey’s although, it has to be said, not in the same glass. Dies used included:- Made To Surprise 5×7 Tentfold Showstopper card die set, Apple Blossom beer glass, bottle and bottle opener dies from the Drinks Trolley collection, iCraft ‘Cheers’ and ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment dies, Tattered lace Shot glass die and Craft Buddy Upper case Nested Alphabet dies. The Baileys bottles were photographs fussy cut and mounted on white fussy cut mats.The Beers sentiment was created by snipping into the die cuts from ‘Cheers’ and ‘Birthday’.
