Christmas 2020

I was pretty early getting my batch made Christmas cards this year and posted those a few weeks back. I did make special ones for close family and friends to but in my enthusiasm to send them I forgot to photograph them. I used some Fizzy Moon die cut decoupage pads to make Z fold cards ( my favourite card fold ) and managed to get a snap of the one sent to my sister. The others were the same format with different bear designs so no great loss that I I didn’t have pictures. I made some for my friend to send to her sons too, she found some designs on pinterest which she liked so I used those as my inspiration. And finally, the cutest one of all was made for my friends son’s dog Teddy made using a fab stamp and die set from Clearly Creative with the addition of some Christmas extras from a custom made xmas die. Finding words to write in this years cards was also difficult given the year we’ve just had so I wrote my own. Hope you like them.

We miss you in the mornings and we miss you both at night.

We miss giving you kisses and we miss squeezing you tight.

We miss family get-togethers and our nights out on the town.

We miss sharing celebrations and acting like a clown.

We love our chats on WhatsApp, love a walk in the fresh air.

and love helping with the DIY, still showing that we care.

We love to Zoom, for football, catching up on all your news,

and just seeing both your faces, helps to chase away the blues.

So happy Christmas wishes and much love is sent your way.

Looking forward to the special time together Christmas Day.

For now we’re truly grateful that we’re all still safe and well.

Let’s hope in 2021 that COVID goes to Hell !!!
