Sometimes I get the most unusual requests, on this occasion, a friend asked to make a large special card to celebrate an Engagement and Expecting a baby for his daughter and her partner, he also requested that the design include references to ‘Friends’ and ‘Game Of Thrones’. Oh, but that was not all, they wanted it to include pictures of the baby scan and pregnancy announcement too. This one had me scratching my head for quite some time, not to mention experimenting with the dies in my collection to try to meet the brief. The finished card may look a bit random to many, but it’s extremely relevant and personal to the recipients who were over the moon to receive this. The card base is a landscape double ‘Z’ fold that is A4 in size when closed. I all kinds of dies for this but had to do lots of snipping and make imaginative use of shapes to create the final card.
