Special Cards For A Special Day – 21st Birthday Showstoppers

My Goddaughter’s daughter recently celebrated her 21st birthday and I was asked to make a special card for her mum and dad to send her. We were also invited to the party so I needed to make a card to send from us too. I love quirky card designs and kinetic cards and am an avid fan of Sam Calcott, who, if you’re a crafter, you will be very familiar with by now. I was really happy with both of these cards and have to thank Sam for her wonderful inspiration.

Pop up 21st birthday card inspired by Sam Calcott of Mixed Up Crafts. I didn't have the Made to Surprise dies to make this but managed to make my own mechanism using a scoreboard and craft knife. I used a old pack of chip board embellishments that has been in my stash for years, they came with coordinating papers too.
